These terms govern the text message program operated by Phoenix Feather Studios for the 5 Minutes of Purgatory experience at inpurgatory.com. By submitting your mobile number and checking the consent box on our intake form, you agree to these terms.
5 Minutes of Purgatory — Reservation Alerts. We send text messages about your reservation: confirmation that you are on the list, your assigned entry time, the location, and changes or cancellations affecting your slot.
You join by entering your name and mobile number at inpurgatory.com and checking the unchecked consent box shown next to the phone field. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods or services from us. You must be 18 or older, and the number you give must be your own mobile number.
Message frequency varies. Expect roughly 1–3 messages per reservation. We do not send recurring marketing messages through this program.
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving text messages according to your plan.
Reply STOP to any message from us to cancel. You may also reply QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE or OPT OUT, or simply tell us in plain words that you want the messages to stop — we honour any reasonable request, by any channel. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further messages.
You can also opt out at any time by emailing help@inpurgatory.com from any address, or by replying to any message. We honour opt-outs as soon as practicable and in no case later than 10 business days after receipt.
Reply HELP to any message, or email help@inpurgatory.com. We will respond with program information and support contact details.
Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Carriers may not support this program at all times.
If you change or give up your mobile number, tell us at help@inpurgatory.com so we do not text the person who receives it next.
This program and the experience it supports are for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect a phone number from anyone under 18. If we learn that a number belongs to someone under 18, we delete the record and never message it.
Your name and number are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page will change, and material changes will be described here. Continuing in the program after a change means you accept the updated terms.
